Eh, just something I felt like making. I personally dislike canon, and by that I mean canon pairings that have already happened or are just bound to happen so you just sit back and watch groaning, KNOWING that so-and-so is going to hook up with what's-his-name at the end so the pairing you like is pretty much kaput.
In fanon, however, the pairing can be anything you want--from two characters with great compatibility to characters that have never even met each other. It really allows the viewer to use their imagination; the characters can do things they don't usually do in the show/book/movie/game and it can get as intimate as one likes. It's complete freedom to pair up the characters without actually complaining to the show about trying to make it canon. I myself hate about 90% of all canon pairings, so yeah.
It is so true. I mean, I like *some* canon pairings, but I also like my crack pairings. And sometimes, the crack is much more addictive than anything canon can create. Uh, no pun intended.

You really do have a point. That's why there are a few fanfictions I consider my own canon-uh, I mean fanon. Like my Sonic Underground Remake series for example.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
