Trying to get back in the drawing mood, and Spot has always been one of my favorite childhood creations, so I decided to do a reference sheet for him...

Spot (aka "Number 36")
Status: Adult
Breed: Siamese/??? mix
Occupation: Stray (was previously an experimental animal)

A vicious creature who would tear your face off as soon as look at you, Spot was the result of an experiment in animal breeding at a secret laboratory. Wanting to produce a cat that could protect its owner as well as a watchdog, scientists spliced the genes of what was apparently Pitbull DNA and the DNA of a female Siamese. After many failed attempts through artificial insemenation, they finally discovered a breakthrough when one of their cats accepted the DNA splice and gave birth to a litter of four kittens. Out of all of them, Spot was the only one who managed to survive, and underwent a series of harsh--and probably illegal--experiments for several years. Any experiment that didn't kill him only seemed to make him more durable, and finally he managed to kill the cruel scientist who had bred him and escape into the wild.

The cruel experiments he was forced to endure have made him bitter toward humans, and a loner to most extent. He does not hang around other cats and is virtually untameable by most standards. The only living creature he can seem to stand is a little pet chihuahua named Vanilla, whom, under strange circumstances, he protects with his life. He is also mute, which only contributes to the confusion the other cats have about him.
